Country House in L’Eliana

We completed the design of a hotel restaurant, where the curtains became a fully integrated architectural element.

Сlient's request

In this project, we faced a challenge: protecting the window décor from an active cat that loved climbing and hanging on traditional sheer curtains.

Our decision

Traditional long sheer curtains can be a big temptation for a pet. That’s why we suggested replacing them with a Roman blind.

Why did it work?

  • No contact: The blind does not touch the floor or move with the slightest air current.
  • Secure fixation: The fabric is held firmly within the structure, preventing the cat from catching onto it and «going for a ride».
  • Adjustable height: During the day, the blind can be raised to a level beyond the cat’s reach, while still preserving a cozy atmosphere and soft light in the room.

The result exceeded expectations: the owner liked the project so much that we later designed window treatments for two more apartments she planned to rent out!
